While Florida is preparing for Hurricane Matthew we here at Nails Done Right feel it is neccessary to also take the appropriate precautionary measures and stay home with our families this Friday October 10. For Saturday appointments we will be watching for current updates on wind and rain fall amounts and will determine whether or not it is safe for our guests to travel.
In regards to me, Linda, working on Saturday, my main concern will be the amount of wind we get. Being that I live so close to the Brevard/ Volusia area we tend to get more coastal weather than inland areas. With high constant wind comes the increase of downed power lines and trees making it very dangerous & difficult to pass through our small roads. Please says prayers for Topaz, she lives in the Melbourne areas and may be subject to a mandetory evacuation. Denise lives close enough inland she should be safe from any coastal tropical weather…..Sending prayers for everyone’s protection and safety up the entire East Coast.
Well it’s that time to year…..Summer is over & back to school the kiddies go! I did these nails on my favorite Hagerty High School math teacher, Brittany aka Bcam and my little 16 year old niece Cynthia. Hope you like 💕
I love these purple nails I did on Sandy. I think it was 5 weeks ago that I last saw her. Yesterday she finally let me change up her shape to this beautiful oval & much shorter nail. She sat down & said I want these short, oval and purple! I choose this gorgeous Luxio shade by AKZENTZ called “Elite” . For the accent nail I first applied a coat of AKZENTZ Options Gel in Aurora Purple. Before curing I tapped a bit of a chunky glitter mix in & flattened it in to blend, then cured 30 seconds in the AKZENTZ Hybrid lamp & then topped it off with one last coat of options aurora purple. For the holographic I just rubbed in a little unicorn powder.
On the early morning of June 12, 2016 an evil man walked in to Pulse Nightclub at killed 49 men & woman & injured so many more. This horrible act of domestic terrorism has affected not just the City Beautiful of Orlando Florida but many people from around the world. As we start to get on with our lives in the regular manner as once before this tragic event, there are constant reminders and stories of survivors that will be forever in my mind & my heart.
I ask you who read this to please continue for pray for healing, strength for the victims of the Pulse Nightclub massacre, their friends, families and loved ones, the people of Orlando, the LGBTQ community and our brothers and sisters around the world.
