Edgy Elegance: How I created this Matte and Chrome Cat-Eye Nail look

In my latest nail art creation, I went for a look that’s all about contrast and a touch of sorcery. It starts with a deep black gel base, the perfect canvas for a white-gold cat-eye effect that gleams like hidden treasure. Over that, I layered a violet-to-green chrome powder that shifts colors with every flicker of light, giving the nails an almost magical aura.

To add a bit of sophistication, I sealed it all in with a matte top coat for a soft, satin finish. And for the final flourish, I drew delicate, high shine gel lines on top of the matte surface, creating a stunning contrast that’s both subtle and striking. This design is all about mixing textures and finishes to create something truly unique and absolutely mesmerizing.

Mad Matte No Cleanse Top Coat

Step 2. Apply any cat eye over your preferred shade. Here i applied an intense white gold cat eye “Ring it in” over ‘ high pigment black, Hema free, TPO, HPMA & Formaldehyde free.

Step 3. Apply a good chrome no cleanse top coat and cure for 60 seconds. Here i used NDR chrome top coat, and apply any translucent chrome powder. Here i used Lucky Chrome, a beautiful translucent green chrome powder with violet shifts.

Step 4. Apply a no cleanse matte like i did here using the NDR Mad Matte

Step. 5 And for the final most impressive step I used a long liner brush that I custom cut the bristles to give the most ever teeny tiny thin lines using our no cleans

Listen, I know the video quality here is not good. Judgment free zone! My phone is 8 years old. I’ll be getting a new one this Thanksgiving.
