I created this shade in honor of one of my most beloved hens, Cheegle. When she was a tiny chick, she somehow looked like a little eagle—even at that size!

My neighbor named her Cheegle, a combination of “chicken” and “eagle.” What makes it even funnier is that my neighbors are raptor rescuers with the Audubon Society in Maitland, Florida. They know what eagles look like up close and firsthand!
