4:30am
The world is still asleep… and I’m already up.
There’s something sacred about this hour.
Before the texts. Before my clients. Before the energy of the day begins.
I sit. I breathe. I meditate.

Then I move my body-10 minutes on the treadmill. Not for fitness alone, but for stamina. Because what I do isn’t just a job… it’s a performance. This requires endurance. It’s precision under pressure.

By 6:45am I arrive at the salon. Lights on. Music up. Energy flowing… Game on!
The Lineup

7:00am Gel Pedi
8:00am 3 week Fill
9:00am 3 week Fill
10:00am Long Stiletto Fil
11:15am 5 week Fill & 5 week Gel Pedi
2:00pm 5 week Fill
3:00pm 5 week Fill
4:15pm 5 week Long Nail Fill
A full book. A stacked Saturday. A 12-hour day ahead.
And here’s the real detail most people don’t see: My last 4 guests had gone way over the 3 week fill I recommend, 5 weeks plus…
Now in my world, that matters.
A structured gel overlay is engineered for balance at three weeks. At 5 weeks? That’s severe outgrowth, intense rebalancing, more work, more time, more precision.
But here’s the blessing…

My work holds up so well, my ladies don’t even realize how much time has passed.
That’s 40 years of perfecting my technique.
That’s supreme product control.
THIS is Nails Done Right.
Preparation is Everything
I don’t walk into a day like this unprepared.
I train for it.

- Black coffee
- Water
- Hard boiled eggs
- Apple for a snack
Fuel. Hydration. Stability.
Because if I crash-everything crashes.
The Sunrise Moment
On the way in at 6:35am I stopped at Dunkin’. Their Iced Cold Brew (no cream or sugar) and the omelette bites are a treat.
And then I see the sky.
That Florida sunrise over Duda Sod Farms on Mitchell Hammock.. It stopped me.
That soft warm orange glow turning into fire across the horizon.
This gives me life. The kind of beauty that gives you chills.
Moments like that remind me- I’m not just working. I’m living.

The Reality of a 12 Hour Day

6:30am to 6:30pm.
12 hours on.
No shortcuts. No cutting corners. Every client gets my full attention.
Because every set of nails carries my name.
Physically? It’s demanding. Mentally? It can be draining. Emotionally? It’s an energy connection that requires my absolute best.
This is skilled labor at the highest level.
The Truth at 58
I still catch myself thinking… “How am I doing this at 58 years old?”. And the answer is simple: I love it!
This life doesn’t happen by accident. It takes discipline.
- Early morning rituals
- Intentional movement
- Clean eating and proper fuel for your body
- Mental focus
- Decades of mastery
I didn’t just build a career… I built the capacity to sustain it.
Final Thought
Saturday wasn’t just a long day.
It was a reminder: Even after 40 years behind the nail table…
This career will take everything from you if you let it.
I’m still here. Still growing. Still showing up. And still delivering the best dang nails ever…
Because this is what 40 years looks like. Not just longevity… but consistency.
And I rocked it-
