When your name is on the building—when your brand is your identity—it becomes more than just a job.
It’s responsibility.
It’s pressure.
It’s risk.
There are days I’ve asked myself:
What am I doing?
Can I really keep going?
Am I failing?
Am I too old for this?
After 40 years in the nail industry, those thoughts still show up.
And that’s the truth no one talks about.
40 Years in the Nail Industry
I started this journey in 1986.
Four decades later, I’m still here—still behind the nail table, still creating, still serving my clients inside my private studio, Nails Done Right in Oviedo, Florida.
Forty years is a long time.
And I don’t know many who have stayed in it this long—especially running their own business.
Because this life?
It’s a constant hustle.
A constant mental load.
A constant commitment to showing up—even when it’s hard.
It’s More Than Just Nails

If there’s one thing that has kept me going, it’s this:

The friendships built over decades.
The ones who show up—not just for appointments, but for me.
And my husband—
Who has supported me through the hardest seasons, financially and emotionally.
Running a business alone is one thing.
But having support?
That’s everything.
My Daily Mantra for Abundance
Every single day, I ground myself in this affirmation:
“I provide a constant flow of financial abundance in good form to myself, my husband, my family, my home, my business, my customers, and my clients—and so it is. Amen.”
I repeat it often.
Because mindset matters.
Because belief matters.
Because even on the days I feel like I can’t—
I remind myself that I can.

Today is not a day of struggle.
