There are moments in life when you can feel the shift before you can fully explain it.
Monday, February 16, 2026 was one of those days for me.
I sat outside meditating from 11:30 AM until 3:30 PM, and something inside me became crystal clear. Tomorrow is the lunar eclipse in Aquarius, and the Moon is in Aquarius all day today — the sign of the future, innovation, and breaking free from limitations.
After nearly forty years in the nail industry, I understand cycles. Trends change. Products change. Techniques evolve. But this moment felt bigger than industry cycles. This felt like a life cycle closing — and a new one beginning.
This is Year Two of my second Saturn return.
Not survival anymore.
Not proving anymore.
Not shrinking anymore.
Becoming.
Forty Years at the Nail Table Changes You
In 2026, I step into my 40th year doing nails.
Forty years of sitting across from incredible women.
Forty years of learning hands, personalities, stories, and energy.
Forty years of adapting, growing, surviving industry shifts, and building trust one appointment at a time.
Right now, I have 39 core clients.
And somehow, that number feels intentional — like life is holding space for a symbolic 40th client. Not just another appointment. A legacy marker.
Because what I’ve built isn’t just a service list.
It’s a relationship-based career.
It’s ritual.
It’s trust.
It’s safe space.
It’s transformation — inside and out.
Why This New Moon and Eclipse Energy Feels Different
New moons are about intention setting. But this one feels amplified.
It aligns with eclipse energy.
It aligns with the Chinese New Year — the Year of the Fire Horse.
It aligns with a personal numerology One Year — new beginnings.
The Fire Horse represents bold movement, freedom, courage, and instinct. It doesn’t wait for permission. It moves when it knows it’s time.
And after four decades in this industry, I know something deeply:
I am not waiting for timing anymore.
I am the timing.

This season is asking a powerful question:
What am I leaving behind?
I am leaving behind playing small.
I am leaving behind dimming myself to fit spaces that were never meant for me.
I am leaving behind the belief that success requires burnout.
I am stepping into:
Mastery.
Leadership.
Legacy.
Ownership of my voice, my vision, and my future.

Designing a future that outlives the hours I spend at a nail table

A coffee space where beauty, business, and community meet
This is not starting over.
This is stepping fully into everything I have built.
The Truth I Finally Know
For the first time in my life, I can say this without hesitation:
I am incredible.
I am awesome.
I am worthy of living my biggest desires.
I am ready.
Saturn teaches through time, discipline, and truth. And standing here in Year Two of my second Saturn return, I understand something I never understood before:
I was never behind.
I was never late.
I was never too much.
I was never not enough.
I was being built.
Built for this industry.
Built for this leadership.
Built for this moment.
And now, I’m finally free to be who I was always meant to be.
